We’ve always been passionate about our goal of ensuring everyone with a mobile device can own their financial future. That’s why it’s so meaningful when other organizations recognize the importance of that goal.
So needless to say, we were honored to learn that FinTech Global named DriveWealth to its fourth annual WealthTech100 List, which recognizes the world’s most innovative technology solution providers that are reshaping the investment industry.
“We are proud to be recognized as a global business driving change in the wealth and asset management industries,” said Bob Cortright, our Founder and CEO. “We’re able to achieve our ultimate goal of democratizing investing at a global scale through partnerships and collaboration with leaders and change-makers. We’re thrilled to be listed among such great companies and look forward to continuing our work to create a better global financial ecosystem.”
The WealthTech100 is selected by a panel of industry experts and analysts. This year, the panel reviewed submissions from more than 1,200 businesses. The final 100 businesses selected are firms the panel believes every leader in wealth management, asset management, private banking, and financial advisory should know about.
While we don’t want to get distracted by the high praise (we have a world to change) – it did provide us a moment to reflect on just how far we’ve come this year alone. Continuing our momentum from 2021, where we opened up access to investing in Georgia, Kenya, Uganda, and South Korea, we kicked off 2022 by announcing our partnership with SproutFi to expand affordable access to investing in the U.S. markets to everyone in Latin America.
But providing increased access to investing through a geographical lens is just part of our solution. We know that diversification across asset classes is key, so earlier this year we launched two wholly-owned subsidiaries, DriveLiquidity and DriveDigital, to offer cryptocurrencies to our partners and their retail investors.
And to think we did all that by working with some of the best people we know. Now it’s on to Q2.
